Reflection of the Heart

Create a relaxing atmosphere, by burning candles, putting on relaxing music and perhaps burning a calming incense or essential oil.

Begin by breathing slowly and deeply, and grounding your energies by imagining roots coming out of your feet or body (depending on your favourite position) and affirming that you are connected to the earth.

As your body slows down ask your angel to draw close to you and tell her all your worries and negative thoughts, and any negative situation that you may have found yourself in. Allow her to take it all away from you and feel or see as the tension is lifted from you.

Now surround your body with pink light. Relax and breath in through your nose, then slowly out through your mouth. Breathe the light into your toes, feeling the stress leave them as they relax. Then breath into your feet, ankles, calves, knees, thighs, hips, buttocks, stomach, lower back, middle back, upper back, chest, shoulders, upper arms, elbows, lower arms, hands, fingers, back up to the neck, back of the head, face, forehead and finally crown of head (the exact order is not important as long as you fill every cell with the light).

Feel your body cleansed and filled with unconditional love for yourself and everything around you, knowing that all is one.

Affirm that your guides and angels will escort you on your journey.

Find yourself stood beneath an old oak tree. If you are visually able to, study the oak tree's detail for a few moments and the surrounding view. Walk around the tree until you find a path leaving through a field. 

Walk along the path, noticing the colours of the flowers and any animals that may appear in the distance or to join you on your journey. Whatever you see is right for you.

Walk until you hear water in a stream, then walk towards the direction of the flowing water.

Look into the beautiful crystal clear waters at your reflection. Is there anyone else with you?

In your own time sit back on the soft grass and look across to the opposite side of the stream.

Feel as your heart chakra expands, and you may ask your angels or guides to help if you like. A scene will unfold on the opposite side of the stream. Relax and enjoy the vision, for as long as feels right for you.

When you are ready, bid farewell to anyone that may have joined you.

Take a slow walk back to the old oak tree, noticing anything different in the scenery.

When you reach the tree slowly bring your awareness back to the here and now, feeling refreshed and enlightened.

Give thanks for the continuous love and protection of your guides.
