The Path of Colour

Create a relaxing atmosphere, by burning candles, putting on relaxing music and perhaps burning a calming incense or essential oil.

Begin by breathing slowly and deeply, and grounding your energies by imagining roots coming out of your feet or body (depending on your favourite position) and affirming that you are connected to the earth.

As your body slows down ask your angel to draw close to you and tell her all your worries and negative thoughts, and any negative situation that you may have found yourself in. Allow her to take it all away from you and feel or see as the tension is lifted from you.

When you are ready visualise a beautiful country scene with a winding path running through the fields. Walk along this path taking note of any animals and flowers that you may come across, or indeed if there is anyone walking with you in support of the healing that is taking place.

The path will turn red and allow your subconscious mind to filter all the red into your aura that you need, knowing that when this is done the path will change to orange.

Allow your body to absorb all the orange that it needs, and when this is done the path will change to yellow.

Absorb the yellow you require, allowing your subconscious mind to change the path to green when you have had enough. 

Allow the green to penetrate your energy field and cleanse, balance and recharge the green in your aura. 

Next the path will change to blue and your mind will allow you to absorb the perfect amount you need at this time, before the path changes to indigo. 

Once again absorb the indigo you require before the path finally changes to violet.

Enjoy this last stage of your journey, noticing how calm and balanced you are feeling, and when you have absorbed enough violet into your energy field you will find the path leads you back home (or wherever you are meditating) and in your own time you can bring your awareness back to the room by opening your eyes feeling relaxed, balanced and energised.
